Spending many many many hours shredding and soaking paper to make seed paper, the efforts were not as had hoped for... whilst they looked beautiful they were not exactly as wanted. What we needed was a paper that was 100% recycled, embedded with seeds and able to be planted just as a seed would normally, with the paper acting as a mulch to support the seeds as they grow. Choosing to support an Australian company that has many years experience in paper making a collaboration with The Spoon Flower formed. The paper & seeds were chosen as they are ideal for their intended purpose and that is - to give a gift that is plantable and grows a happy memory.
